We supplied and created the libraries throughout The L’Oscar Hotel in Holborn, one of London’s most opulent luxury hotels. Our vintage and antique books bring warmth, richness and a sense of literary heritage to its theatrical interiors.
The project
The L’Oscar Hotel occupies a Grade II listed former Baptist church headquarters in Holborn, reimagined as a five star boutique hotel known for its bold, theatrical and richly layered interiors. Spaces of this kind call for detail that feels collected over time rather than bought off the shelf.
We were asked to supply and create the libraries throughout the hotel: choosing, arranging and styling vintage and antique volumes so that each shelf reads as part of the building’s character. The result is books that look at home in the setting, adding warmth and a sense of history to the guest experience.
